Zalakaros entices visitors with countless attractions. In addition to the well-known thermal spa complex, there is also a Thermal lake and Ökopart, an arboretum, and parks. You can choose from several hiking trails, the Sziga hiking trail starts a few hundred meters away, and here you can also find the Erdész Kilátó. We can walk along the Karos-Korze, take part in a walking tour, or take part in a water tour. The burden of cooking is taken off our shoulders by nearby restaurants, and afterwards we are treated to divine delicacies, e.g. the Szilágy Confectionery. The house is not only good for a vacation, but it is also great to live here on a daily basis, as there is a kindergarten and a school for our children nearby, and a doctor's office and pharmacy can be found within a 2 km radius. We can arrange smaller purchases, even at the farmers' market, but for bulk shopping, I recommend Nagykanizsa, 16 km away, where Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Penny, Interspar, and Obi are available for DIY. Az ebédlőből továbbhaladva az előszobába érünk, ahonnan szemben egy zuhanyzós fürdőszobát találunk, amelyben toalett is a rendelkezésünkre áll. A fürdőszoba mellett mindkét irányban 1-1 szoba található, a nagyobbikhoz tartozik egy erkély is, ahol reggelente kávézás közben csodálhatjuk a páratlan panorámát, hallgathatjuk a madárcsicsergést, beszívhatjuk az erdő illatát.

A ház hátsó részén, egy külső lépcsőn közelíthetjük meg a külön bejáratú tetőteret, ahol egy újabb életteret alakított ki a jelenlegi tulajdonos. Az ajtón belépve egy nagyobb szobába lépünk be, ahonnan egy zuhanyzóval ellátott, wc-vel rendelkező fürdőszobába jutunk. Ezen helységen áthaladva egy hangulatos kis szoba fogad minket, ami akár hálónak, akár gyerek-, vagy dolgozószobának is berendezhető.

A ház melegéről gázkonvektor gondoskodik, a meleg vizet villanybojler biztosítja. A felújításnak köszönhetően a nyílászárók egy részét műanyagra cserélték, a többi pedig jó minőségű fából van. A villanyt 32 Amperesre bővíttették. A tetőt minőségi Tondach cserép borítja. A kertben egy 6m2 kis tároló áll rendelkezésünkre, amelybe szintén bevezetésre került a víz és a villany, a ház alatt pedig egy pince található.

Zalakaros számtalan látnivalóval csábítja az ide látogató vendégeket. A méltán híres termálfürdő komplexum mellett van itt Termáltó és Ökopart, arborétum, parkok. Több túraútvonal közül is választhatunk, pár száz méterre kezdődik a Csiga túra tanösvény, valamint itt találhatjuk az Erdész Kilátót is. Sétálhatunk a Karos-korzón, sétarepülésen, vízitúrán vehetünk részt. A főzés terhét a közeli éttermek veszik le a vállunkról, utána pedig isteni finomságokkal vár minket, pl. a Szilágyi Cukrászda.
A ház nem csak nyaralónak jó, hanem a mindennapokban is nagyszerű itt élni, hiszen gyermekeink részére találunk óvodát, iskolát is a közelben, és orvosi rendelő, gyógyszertár is 2 km-es körzetben megtalálható. Kisebb bevásárlásokat el tudunk intézni, akár a termelői piacon is, viszont nagybevásárláshoz ajánlom a 16km-re lévő Nagykanizsát, ahol Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Penny, Interspar, barkácsoláshoz Obi áll a rendelkezésünkre. Tömegközlekedést tekintve az autóbusz állomás 1 km-re található, míg autóval a 7-es főút 10 perc alatt elérhető.
