Az épület a nagy szegedi árvíz után épült Alsóvároson. Csendes környék, jó közlekedéssel közel a belvároshoz.
A lakás 25 négyzetméteres kis garzon. Összesen 9 lakás van az épületben ebből ma már 7 magán tulajdonú és kettőt kezel még az IKV. Kívülről az utcafronton és az udvar felől is szigetelték az épületet, valamint kicserélték a nyílászárókat műanyagra. Már elkészültekor is szükség lakásnak készült. Később az új tulajdonos alakított ki egy fürdőszobát, ezért annak padozata nincs egy síkban a lakás többi részével. A lakás a száraz kapu bejáró felett található. Összesen egy szobából és egy fürdőszobából áll benne a wc-vel. A lakásba belépve találjuk a konyha-étkezőt. A lakás falai festettek, a szoba parkettával burkolt és konvektor fűtésű.
Az udvaron található még egy saját használatú garázs, plusz külön- külön van mindenkinek tároló helye. Az udvar hátsó részét felosztották a tulajdonos társak és ott kerültek kialakításra a veteményes kertek. Tavasztól őszig minden megterem benne, borsó, bab, répa, eper,ribizli stb.
