A real speciality in our offer! A castle to be renovated in Borsod County near the Slovak border. With a well-kept park with ancient trees on an area of 7.3 ha. A little historical look back: Putnok Castle, or rather its fortified castle, which was demonstrably already standing in 1427, initially served to protect the estates of the Putnoky family. In 1834, the then lord of Putnok, Count Alajos Serényi, in accordance with the spirit of the times, had a castle built on the site of the castle by carrying away its ruins and partially using its building stones. The last count owner of the building, Béla Serényi and his family, left the country in 1945, after which the castle served as a cultural center, a children's resort, a Greek refugee camp, a home for disabled war veterans, and then a social employment institute. A typical example of classicist architecture is the castle, which was built of burnt bricks, its walls - sometimes exceeding 1 meter thick - were also reinforced with the building stones of the castle in place. It is a single-storey building, standing free on a hillside, surrounded by a park, on an area of 7.3 hectares. Since it is built on a hillside, facing the valley, its northeastern side appears to be one-storey, but it is only a mezzanine. The lower windows are not the ground floor, but the basement windows. The castle has an "L" -shaped floor plan, which is unique in Gömör, Hungary. Its main facade overlooks the country road connecting Putnok with Bánrévé. It always had a gable roof, but the original tiles were replaced with gray slate in the meantime. It received a new roof structure 15 years ago, when tiles were added to the building as a shell. Entering through the main entrance, we reach the great hall, which was originally 6 x 8 meters, but was enlarged by removing a partition wall, merging the living room next to it. Next to it is a bedroom, the nanny's room, and next to it is the children's room. From the children's room towards the back entrance, we find the common bedroom of the count and countess, which can be accessed from the hall. Behind the great hall is a corridor from which the bathrooms open. Next to the great hall, in the northeast wing overlooking the valley, we find two larger rooms next to each other. In the northeast wing we find bedrooms and guest rooms, including the room that was used as a pantry. In this wing we find the spiral staircase leading to the cellar and the attic, next to which a servant's room was arranged. The side entrance next to the driveway was mainly used by the staff, while the food and firewood were stored in the anteroom behind the door, which were taken to the kitchen through a longer corridor. There was a wardrobe room right under the children's room. Next to this, under the count's bedroom, a servant's room was arranged. In the basement there was also a sink, laundry room, perhaps a clothes dryer, and plenty of storage rooms. Here we can also find the concreted niche from which tunnels once started. Supposedly, one of the tunnels extended all the way to Eger. While the building only has rooms with flat ceilings, the basement was covered with a barrel vault. In some rooms we can even find stucco decorations, the original color of which is unknown. The rooms were parqueted, but there were also stone floors. The spiral staircase and its iron railing from the cellar to the attic are original, the staircase is badly damaged. There is a glass roof above the staircase, which served as lighting. Today, we can still see the original wrought iron grilles in good condition in the building, which cover the ventilation openings. These are the remaining elements of the former air heating system. The castle park is the largest of all (of the Hungarian castles), it also has the most diverse tree population. We can still find trees older than a hundred years here. The park, which was originally fenced, is practically in the best condition of all. Its use can be diverse: -event center, -museum, -other tourist use, -business center, -wellness center, -retirement home, -education center, -castle hotel, Closed to visitors, viewing is possible at a pre-arranged time. Egy igazi különlegesség a kínálatunkban!

Felújítandó kastély Borsod vármegyében a szlovák határ közelében.
Ősfás rendben tartott parkkal 7,3 ha területen.
Egy kis történeti visszatekintés:
Putnok vára, pontosabban megerősített várkastélya, mely 1427-ben már bizonyíthatóan állt, eleinte a Putnoky család birtokainak védelmét szolgálta.
1834-ben Putnok akkori ura, gróf Serényi Alajos a korszellemnek megfelelően kastélyt építtet a vár helyén úgy, hogy annak romjait elhordatja, ill. részben felhasználja építőköveit.
Az épület utolsó grófi tulajdonosa Serényi Béla és családja 1945-ben hagyta el az országot, ezt követően a kastély kultúrház, gyermeküdülő, görög menekülttábor, hadirokkant otthon, majd szociális foglalkoztató intézet épületeként szolgált.
A klasszicista építészet tipikus példája a kastély, mely égetett téglából épült, falait - melyek vastagsága néhol az 1 métert is meghaladja - a helyén lévő vár építőköveivel is megerősítették. Földszintes épület, domboldalban szabadon áll, park veszi körül,7,3 ha nagyságú területen.
Mivel domboldalba épült, völgyre néző, északkeleti oldala egyemeletesnek tűnik, azonban csak magasföldszintről van szó. Az alsó ablakok nem a földszint, hanem az alagsor ablakai.
A kastély "L" - alakú alaprajzzal rendelkezik, mely egyedülálló a magyarországi Gömörben.
Főhomlokzata a Putnokot Bánrévével összekötő országútra néz. Mindig nyeregtetős volt, de az eredeti cserepeket időközben szürke palára cserélték.15 éve új tetőtszerkezetet kapott ekkor került héjazatként újra cserép az épületre.
A főbejáraton belépve a nagyterembe jutunk, amely eredetileg 6 x 8 méteres volt, de egy közfal kibontásával megnövelték, beleolvasztva a mellette lévő lakószobát.
Mellette egy hálószoba, a dada szobája, e mellett a gyerekszoba található. A gyerekszobától a hátsó bejárat felé találjuk a gróf és grófnő közös hálószobáját, mely az előszobából közelíthető meg. A nagyterem mögött egy folyosó húzódik, amelyről a fürdőszobák nyílnak. A nagyterem mellett, a völgyre néző északkeleti szárnyban egymás mellett két nagyobb helyiséget találunk. Az északkeleti szárnyban háló- és vendégszobákat találunk, köztük azt a helyiséget, amelyet tálalóként használtak. Ebben a szárnyban találjuk a pincébe és a padlásra vezető csigalépcsőt, amely mellett inasszobát rendeztek be.
A kocsibehajtó melletti oldalbejáraton közlekedett elsősorban a személyzet, az ajtó mögötti előtérben rakták le az élelmiszert és a tüzelőnek való fát, melyeket egy hosszabb folyosón keresztül juttattak el a konyhába.
Pontosan a gyerekszoba alatt egy gardróbszoba volt. E mellett, a grófi hálószoba alatt egy inasszobát rendeztek be. A pincében volt még mosdó, mosókonyha, talán ruhaszárító, valamint rengeteg raktárhelyiség. Itt találjuk azt a lebetonozott fülkét is, amelyből egykor alagutak indultak ki.
Állítólag az alagutak egyike egészen Egerig húzódott. Míg az épületben kizárólag sík födémes helyiségeket találunk, a pince donga boltozattal fedett. Néhány teremben még stukkódíszítéseket is találunk, melyek eredeti színezését nem ismeijük. A szobákat parkettázták, de kőborítású padlók is voltak. A pincétől a padlásig húzódó csigalépcső és vaskorlátja eredeti, a lépcső erősen megrongálódott. A lépcső fölött üvegtető található, amely a megvilágítást szolgálta. Ma is láthatunk még az épületben jó állapotban lévő eredeti kovácsoltvas rácsokat, melyek a szellőzőnyílásokat fedik. Ezek az egykori légfűtési rendszer megmaradt elemei.A kastély parkja valamennyi (a magyarországi gömöriek) közül a legnagyobb, ez rendelkezik a legváltozatosabb faállománnyal is. Száz évnél idősebb fákat is találunk még itt. A park, mely eredetileg körül volt kerítve, gyakorlatilag a legjobb állapotban van mind közül.
